Home Concerts

I wanted to let you know how impressed I was with Janelle.  She performed in our community and I had the priviledge of having her stay with us over night.  It was amazing how easy it was so talk to such a young person.   I look forward to watching her musical career excel .  – Lavona

Janelle’s home concerts offer a unique, special and entertaining evening of harp and voice for you and your friends right in your own home!

Feel free to make it as personal and special to you and your friends as you want. Some people have tea and dainties, wine and cheese or a simple gathering!  It’s up to you!

KIND OF MUSIC Janelle plays styles of music on the Celtic harp from folk, to Latin American, to world music, and even some familiar tunes and more!

AUDIENCE The audience is made up of the friends and family that you have invited into your home for the concert creating a very intimate, friendly and warm environment.

FEE The concert is at no cost to the host!  Each person who comes through the door pays $20 at the door.  A minimum of 10 people required.

PERFORMANCE LENGTH There will be two 45-minute sets with an intermission.

HOUSING REQUIREMENTS The concert will be situated in the largest room of your house where you can set up however many chairs and couches you think necessary for the people you have invited to your home.
Do not worry about a sound system as Janelle does not use one for her home concerts and do not worry about space.  Janelle brings her Celtic harp and her own chair.

LANGUAGE Janelle can do the concert in either English or in French, or “Franglais” for those of you who would like a mix!

TIME A harp concert is a nice touch for a special weekend, weeknight, evening or a Sunday matinee!

SPECIAL REQUESTS If there are any special requests such as songs, lengths, timing, etc… please let Janelle know ahead of time.

Rider:

For solo concerts, Janelle requires 3 XLR cables, 2 DIs, one microphone and a monitor. If this is not availble, or if the room is small enough, the concert can be done acoustically. Please contact her for more information.
